Hello,
My name is Sandra, I live and teach in Cape Coral, Florida. I got my first taste of cake decorating 20 years ago when after watching my aunt decorate cakes, I thought I can do that. That is when I signed up for my Course I Wilton class. I learned what every beginning decorator wants to learn "The Wilton Rose".
Since I was a few months from having my 2nd daughter I decided Course I was enough. It was, I was able to make Birthday cakes for my girls and family members, then I decided I wanted more. After several years I went back to the same local store, greeted my old teacher and was ready for more. I took Course II and Course III back to back, at that point I wanted to know how I could become a instructor myself. I taught for 3 years in Ft. Myers, then for personal reason I took some time off from teaching, but not from decorating. Now since the opening of the Michaels in Cape Coral Oct. 2007 I'm back teaching and loving it.
